Who We Are

Background & Expertise

I am a Market Analysis Specialist and Data-Driven Policy Analyst based in Türkiye, with 20+ years across market and sector research, trend analysis, and social research, alongside hands-on work with civil-society and policy initiatives.
This path has given me a grounded view of agriculture, livestock and manufacturing, as well as consumer appliances—covering producer, consumer and supply-chain perspectives. I work fluently with official data and field evidence, and I’m comfortable translating complex findings into practical decisions.

Perspective & Approach

Evidence-led and feasibility-focused. The approach begins with a rigorous reading of national and regional policy frameworks—strategies, plans and targets—paired with demographics, economic indicators and sector statistics. Analysis starts from verified, data-driven facts.

Policy and implementation design are grounded in local realities: everyday life, community needs and on-the-ground constraints. Research fosters social dialogue and collective reasoning among stakeholders, clarifying practical needs and priorities and translating them into implementable options.

Guiding principles: inclusive, sustainable governance; upholding human dignity and rights; respect for nature and all living beings; and policies and projects that help communities live in balance with one another and with the ecosystems they depend on.

Consulting Focus (Where I Can Help)

1) Sector analysis & policy design for sustainable sector development
I assess sectors end-to-end and turn insights into actionable policy options.

  • Diagnostics: structure, demand/supply trends, producer–consumer–supplier dynamics
  • Sustainability pathways: resource use, circularity/repair, resilience and transition levers
  • Policy options & briefs: concrete measures, timing, responsible actors, expected effects
  • Decision collateral: concise reports, roadmaps

 2) Project design for inclusive governance (for NGOs and civic partners)
I help NGOs design evidence-based projects that strengthen participation and accountability.

  • Problem framing from data and lived experience; stakeholder & power mapping
  • Co-creation workshops (Delphi-inspired) and engagement plans
  • Logframes/KPIs, budget outlines, and funding-readiness packages
  • Implementation guidance: roles, risk/assumption matrices, learning loops

3) Regional policy & decision support via stakeholder dialogue and research
I facilitate region-level choices using structured dialogue grounded in research.

  • Regional profiles: employment/sector indicators, opportunities & constraints
  • Stakeholder dialogues: moderated sessions with clear evidence packs and options
  • Scenario design and prioritisation of pilot projects with measurable outcomes
  • Outputs: regional roadmaps, action memos, and monitoring templates

Primary call-to-action (site copy idea): “Have a brief? Let’s scope a pragmatic plan in 20 minutes.”

Social Research

Research-Led Social Dialogue

Social research functions as structured civic dialogue: mixed-methods evidence—quantitative and qualitative fieldwork, official statistics and sector datasets—is translated into collective reasoning among stakeholders. Deliberative formats (roundtables, focus groups, citizen panels, Delphi-inspired workshops) build multi-dimensional understanding, align interests and constraints, and turn findings into implementable options that fit both the macro-policy context and local realities. The approach combines stakeholder and power mapping, clear evidence packs, option generation and prioritisation, pilot scoping and simple monitoring templates to sustain accountability. Grounded in work on Human Development and Social Cohesion in Türkiye and in professional/volunteer facilitation of multi-stakeholder sessions, it supports inclusive, sustainable governance that upholds human dignity and respects nature.

White Papers & Policy Analysis

Reliable research is a cornerstone of the social sciences; its impact grows when evidence is analysed with rigorous, transparent methods and situated within policy and social context.

Experience: Collaboration with Prof. Fuat Keyman on “Opportunities for Consensus and Coexistence after July 15: The Peace–Human Development Connection,” conducted within the Istanbul Policy Center’s Conflict Resolution and Mediation Program (Post-Impact Conflict Solution and Democracy Opportunities Project).

Sector Analysis

Sector analysis integrates global and national dynamics, macroeconomic trends (growth, inflation, FX, input costs), domestic constraints, the legal and regulatory environment, and the competitive landscape. Secondary datasets (official statistics, trade data, financials, e-commerce panels, reputable industry reports) are triangulated with structured dialogues—interviews and roundtables with key players, trade associations and opinion leaders. Deliverables convert evidence into clear choices: market sizing and growth scenarios; supply–demand and channel mapping; competitor and capability benchmarking; pricing architecture and promotion trackers; segment analysis across premium and price-sensitive customers; regulatory and policy implications; risk/opportunity maps; and actionable roadmaps. Each study reflects current market news, technology shifts and evolving consumer behaviours, staying decision-ready and aligned with the macro-policy context and local realities.
